Our
support requirement for service in Chad is about $4000 per month. As of October
1, 2005 we have just enough support to return to Chad. For this we thank the Lord. The pie chart to the right shows
how our support is spent. We have also prepared a complete report
of our finances from this past term. While we are not actively looking
for more support, it is also fair to say that more support would give us more
margin and more possibilities for ministry. There are always needs in Africa.
- Notes:
- Salary - self explanatory - the number here is 79% of the amount TEAM allows for a couple without children. We get along fine on this amount.
- Home Office - a fixed amount (not a percentage) which helps TEAM run their office in Wheaton.
- Benefits - includes pension, Health insurance, housing allowance, and a vacation allowance to get us out of Chad.
- Ministry in Chad - includes airfare to/from Chad, travel within Chad, field administration, and, of course, our ministry among the Kwong.
